The brief was to create an app, especially for any event. I decided to focus on the fall of the Berlin wall in 1989. Berlin was divided socially, culturally, and physically into 2 very different sides for a long time. The goal of Re_Berliner app is to help people from both sides to reconnect and to recreate social life as one united big city. Re_Berliner is a small social network where people can find their friends and family and also a platform to place events and create opportunities to meet each other. The design is bold, strong just as was the wall, but yet colorful. I didn't use black color at all in this design. The colors that were inspired by 90's cassettes, with the digital Din font together create that-time-atmosphere.
